Distance Learning Provided for Covid-19 Quarantined Students

Please note that starting October 20, 2021, all students who are unable to attend school in person due to COVID-19 (infection or exposure) quarantine will be provided Distance Learning.

Your child’s teacher(s) will provide a Google Meet link that will allow your child to access live, whole-group instruction from a computer or electronic device. Students with access and who are healthy enough to participate will be expected to attend Google Meets during quarantine. Students who are expected to attend will be marked present or absent based on their attendance in these Google Meets. Students who are not healthy enough to participate will be marked as “excused”.

Distance Learning will only be available during your child’s normally scheduled school day.

Additionally, your child’s teacher will keep their teacher site up to date with corresponding resources and assignments through the Panther Portal.

Distance Learning is only available for students experiencing quarantine due to COVID-19.

Your child’s school will provide additional information for accessing Distance Learning when it is applicable.
