Important Back-to-School Dates

PHS Back to School Event - Annual Student Information Verification

Required for all Pennfield High School families

Wednesday, August 12, 2026 - 3:00-8:00 p.m.
Thursday, August 13, 2026 - 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Pennfield High School - Drop in at any time during the hours listed above.

Pennfield High School families are invited to complete their required back-to-school check-in for the 2026-2027 school year. During check-in, families will be able to:

  • Review and update emergency contact information

  • Complete medical authorization and health forms

  • Receive schedule and locker information

  • Pay outstanding fees and fines

  • Complete Chromebook forms and payments

  • Receive yearbook information

  • Obtain parking permits

  • Pay athletic fees or purchase athletic passes

A student’s address must be current before the student can receive their schedule and Chromebook. A parent or guardian must attend. Payments must be made with cash.

Updating Your Address

Families who need to update their address should bring the appropriate residency documentation, such as:

  • A utility bill showing the current address and dated within the past 30 days

  • A rental or lease agreement containing the parent’s and student’s name

  • A mortgage agreement

  • A notarized affidavit of residency with supporting documentation

PHS Eighth Grade and New Student Orientation

Thursday, August 13, 2026
Pennfield High School 9:00- 11:00 a.m.

Eighth-grade and new high school students are invited to learn more about Pennfield High School and prepare for a successful transition into their new learning environment. Students will be introduced to the Chromebook program, school expectations and culture, communication resources, and other important information. They will also participate in activities designed to help them become comfortable with the building and the high school experience.

  • North Penn Elementary: 4:30-6:00 p.m.

  • Dunlap Elementary: 4:00-5:30 p.m.

  • Pennfield Middle School: 4:00-5:30 p.m.

Dunlap Second Grade and New Student Meeting
5:30-6:00 p.m. Following Dunlap’s Open House, families of second-grade students and students who are new to Dunlap are invited to attend a brief informational meeting.

Sixth Grade Orientation

Friday, August 21, 2026
Pennfield Middle School 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Sixth-grade students are invited to explore Pennfield Middle School, learn about school expectations and routines, and participate in activities that will help them begin middle school with confidence.

Parent Information Meeting: 8:30- 9:00 a.m. with the principal in the Pennfield Middle School cafeteria.

Building Schedules & Special Day Information

Pennfield High School opens at 7:05 a.m., classes begin at 7:35 a.m., and normal dismissal is at 2:30 p.m. Pennfield Middle School opens at 7:05 a.m., classes begin at 7:24 a.m., and normal dismissal is at 2:21 p.m. Dunlap Elementary opens at 8:00 a.m., classes begin at 8:20 a.m., and normal dismissal is at 3:25 p.m. North Penn Elementary opens at 8:15 a.m., classes begin at 8:30 a.m., and normal dismissal is at 3:40 p.m. Half-day dismissal is at 11:00 a.m. for the high school, 10:55 a.m. for the middle school, 11:55 a.m. for Dunlap, and 12:10 p.m. for North Penn. One-hour early-release Wednesday dismissal is at 1:30 p.m. for the high school, 1:21 p.m. for the middle school, 2:25 p.m. for Dunlap, and 2:40 p.m. for North Penn.
