Mr. Lamb was recognized by his coworkers as Staff of the Month for showing what it means to be Safe! Ms. Wilson presented him with a certificate in recognition of his dedication and commitment to our school community. He is always doing the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our building running smoothly—stepping into multiple roles and going above and beyond every day. Because of his hard work and care, our students and staff feel safe, supported, and ready to thrive. A big thank-you to the PTO for donating a $50 gift card for our Staff of the Month! Next month’s focus is Empathy 💛

Pastries with the Principal at North Penn Elementary!

Update from Mrs. Madry’s class! 💌 As part of our Valentine’s/Postcard challenge, our 1st graders are working to collect postcards by Valentine’s Day. We were so excited to receive two special letters—one from my parents in Mackinaw with fun facts about the Mackinac Bridge, and another from a former teacher I worked with in Edgewater, Florida. Thank you for helping our students with this fun learning adventure!
If you would like to join in the fun and send a postcard to a 1st grade class use this address:

Wednesday, February 11 was previously scheduled as an early-release day but it will now be a full day of school. February 11 is a State of Michigan Count Day. Student attendance for the full day helps ensure our schools continue to receive support for programs, staffing, and services. Dismissal, transportation, and after-school programs will follow the regular full-day schedule. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Join us in celebrating Miles & Hudson for earning Perfect Attendance! Their dedication and commitment to being at school every day truly makes a difference. We are so proud of you—keep up the great work! 👏📚 #EveryDayCounts

We’re extending our January Reading Challenge through February 2, 2026! 🎉 That means there’s still time for our students to log those reading minutes, finish a great book, and keep building strong reading habits.
Let’s keep the momentum going—encourage your child to read each night and help us celebrate the joy of reading together. Every page counts!
