At this week’s Board of Education meeting, the Board had the opportunity to recognize two teams for their incredible academic achievements:
🏐 Varsity Volleyball – MIVCA Team Academic All-State
Under the leadership of Head Coach Brooke Wells, the 2024 Pennfield Varsity Volleyball team has earned MIVCA Team Academic All-State honors! These student-athletes have demonstrated true Panther pride by excelling in the classroom and on the court.
🏈 Varsity Football – MHSFCA Team Academic All-State
Led by Head Coach Robbie Hattan, the 2024 Pennfield Varsity Football team has also achieved MHSFCA Team Academic All-State recognition. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to academics is truly commendable.

Dunlap Elementary Shines in Board of Education Presentation 📊🎉
Yesterday, the Board of Education had the opportunity to visit Dunlap Elementary School for its regular March meeting – and what an inspiring visit it was! ✨
As part of the evening, Dunlap students and staff delivered a thoughtful presentation that showcased the heart of the building. 💚 Highlights included an overview of school celebrations, as well as, student data and growth 📈 shared by Principal Katrina Hill, a PBIS spotlight 🌟 from Dean of Students Olivia Holmes, and a special student-led segment 🎤 on what makes Dunlap such a special place to learn and grow. 🏫
All those in attendance at the meeting were excited to see the incredible work happening at Dunlap and left feeling energized by the dedication of the staff and the enthusiasm of the students. Way to go, Dunlap Elementary! 👏 #PantherPride #LearnGrowLead











This is a reminder to families that there will be a half day of school for students on Wednesday, March 19th for students with Parent Teacher Conferences taking place in the afternoon. We look forward to connecting with families during conferences!


Celebrating PBIS at Dunlap Elementary 🎉
Each month, Dunlap Elementary students and staff host a PBIS celebration to recognize students showing their P.A.W.S. each day! During the February celebration, students had a blast playing the Defy Gravity Game, and were excited to receive fun prizes like a Reading Month shirt!📚🎈

Pennfield High School students Anna Keown and Alex Alton competed today as members of the Calhoun Area Career Center culinary team during the 2025 Michigan ProStart Invitational. This event brings students from across the state of Michigan to compete and showcase their skills. Teams of five had one hour to complete three separate dishes during today's competition. We are so proud of our students for their passion, dedication, and working to #LearnGrowLead each day!

🎉 PBIS Event Recap! 🎭🎤📚 Pennfield High School hosted an exciting PBIS event at the end of January filled with friendly competition and incredible performances! 🧠 Students vs. Teachers Trivia—Teachers took the win by 8 points, thanks to a bold wager on the Double Down question! 🎶 Performances—Students showcased their talents in singing, dancing, and a special performance from the Acting Club. 🎭 Spring Play Sneak Peek—The crowd loved the trailer for our upcoming production featuring tales from the Brothers Grimm! Last month, Pennfield Schools hosted a Jeans Day to support the Charitable Union’s annual Jeans Drive 👖—and our Panther community showed up in a BIG way! Jeans are one of the toughest items for Charitable Union to collect, and Pennfield stepped up to help. This is what true community looks like! 💪
