Pennfield High School is excited to celebrate the accomplishment of Calvin Paesen's and the Varsity Boys Basketball Team! 🏀🔥 Calvin recently set a new personal milestone, hitting a total of 11 three-pointers in one game, while helping the team to break Pennfield High School's record of 15 three-pointers in a game. After spending the off-season improving his shot, Calving knew he was on track to break the record when the flow of the game saw both teams on a three-pointer streak. Celebrating the achievement with his family, Calvin plans to frame the game ball as a memento. Now, his focus shifts to breaking the single-season 3-point record, but he's keeping a "next game" mentality, prioritizing team success over individual stats. Looking ahead, Calvin has his eyes set on a state championship and hopes to continue his success in both basketball and baseball. 👏🔥

Pennfield High School is excited to celebrate 100 wins and counting, a celebration of the commitment of Braylin Swank. After years of overcoming setbacks and challenges, Braylin reached a major milestone with 100 career wins. With a current season record of 22-1, he's proven his resilience on the mat. 🏆 Reflecting on his journey, Swank shared, "It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it. You can’t get too hyped up until it’s all over. The grind continues." Celebrating his achievement on January 22, 2025, Braylin was awarded a plaque for his dedication. Looking ahead, his focus remains on the next step: districts, regionals, and hopefully, Ford Field for States in mid-February. While he's been working on securing a college wrestling scholarship, Swank also has an eye on a future in the trades. His journey is just getting started, and he’s determined to keep pushing forward. Congratulations Braylin! We can't wait to see how you continue to #LearnGrowLead 👏

Check out this positivity in action!✨This month, one of the Middle School PBIS lessons during PRIDE Time focused on the "P" in PRIDE: Positivity. Students worked in groups to create posters filled with positive "P" words, like"Proactive" and "Punctual" and discussed how these words influence their behavior and mindset. Teachers added their input, furthering the conversations about how positivity helps us grow as individuals and as a school! This lesson provided a chance for students to reflect, connect, and build tools to strengthen their personal goals and contributions to our school community. Way to #LearnGrowLead Middle School! 💡📝

The winter testing window for NWEA is underway, and it’s a great opportunity for students to demonstrate their progress and growth. Families can help set their students up for success with these five tips: ensure they get a good night's sleep, provide a healthy breakfast, encourage a positive mindset, remind them to take their time and do their best, and let them know how proud you are of their hard work and growth throughout the year. Thank you for supporting your student(s) during this important time!
